The sea is the greatest reminder that nothing stays. Footprints gone in minutes. Reflections shattered by a single ripple. Tide pools filled and emptied twice a day as if the ocean breathes. I have learned that the most beautiful things are always the most temporary — and that is exactly why they deserve to be captured. To give the fleeting a permanent home.

Something ancient in us responds to the sound of water. The rhythm of waves is the oldest lullaby on earth — it slows the breath, quiets the mind, loosens what we have been holding too tightly. When I photograph the sea, I am trying to bottle that feeling. To put it on your wall so that on your hardest mornings, you can look up and remember — the ocean is still out there, still breathing, still waiting for you.
